MORE ABOUT ME...

One word that best describes me: creative!

I joined this community because: i was intrigued when Brenda started to write about it on her blog!

My goals for participating in the Gratitude Project: my goal in participating in this project is mostly curiosity, the creative aspect and getting more life in between my sleep and work! i work the overnight shift and have found in the past that it is difficult to feel i have a life while the majority of the world sleeps i work and vice versa. i did do the photo a day for 2008 and each and every single day! i did not miss one. i have taken about 1500 photos this past year, and i do not have kids or pets! i am an active member of a few different community groups and love taking photos to share of the fabulous things i participate in! one big huge event is the communities in bloom bid...we were in a group of five other like sized populated cities for all of canada this year for the fourth year! i set up a garden tour that was free for all of london and had 75 gardens registered for all the city to enjoy! this was a huge huge thing as it was a volunteer committee of one! me...loved every moment of it especially meeting the home owners and hearing their stories! in participating in the gratitude project..i think i am going to call mine the good things book! i hope to continue to document the good things to stay positive and work away at my creativity and look for inspiration wherever it may appear!

I find inspiration in: the many many creative outlets and magazines, blogs, my local scrapbook store and online classes.

Craft mediums:

Interests: Anything creative! mostly paper and fabric, and anything christmas! i do love to scrapbook! i am an interior designer by trade and love all things old, architectural, creative!

What else you should know about me: i live in a heritage designated neighborhood, that i simply love! i have a 105 year old house that is my pride and joy. I am single and work as a switchboard operator at the local hospital on the overnight shift!
